Making Memories

So my little man has begun to get creative. He found the cabinet that contains the pots and pans. He had so much fun playing the "drums." I remember doing this as a child growing up and knew the kind of joy Isaac was experiencing.

Isaac has begun a bedtime routine. We say good night to Daddy and then...it's bath time! Isaac LOVES taking a bath in his new ducky bathtub from Aunt Lizzie and Uncle Andy and with his basketball hoop from the Nelsons.

After bath time, we get into our PJ's, brush his 7 teeth, read a story, say our prayers, and off to bed.
We have started to be sure to create family traditions so that Isaac can have memories. One new tradition is Tuesday family wing night at BW3 in Clarksburg. The entire restaurant is non smoking, has lots of TVs, it's loud so we don't have to sush Isaac, and it's cheap! The only problem is trying to keep Isaac in his seat! He's such a little monkey!

I'm glad he's found joy in the every day things. The little memories are some of my fondest from my childhood. I hope and pray that I can give my children the same gift of family memories that I have...it begins now.
