Trick-Or-Treating In Fairmont

Isaac and I went trick-or-treating in Fairmont on Thursday October 30th. Daddy had to work, but he was assigned to our zone, so he was able to come walk with us a little and watch his little monkey get some candy. Isaac had a blast walking and visiting all the people. He loved the costumes and was only afraid of one ghost. Of course, he was an attraction. Passers-by took pictures and commented on how cute is was. We were slow-going and there was no point in being goal-oriented, but he really didn't care about the candy. He was more interested in getting attention and crunching leaves under his feet.
Can you bekieve that the bag he is carrying is the same bag he was IN last year?!
These pictures are of Isaac the monkey after we got home. He tore into a toostie roll and got toostie roll juice on his costume as we watched Charlie Brown It's the Great Pumpkin. Another tradition I want him to have. I remember as a child, going trick-or-treating and coming home to watch The Great Pumpkin. Then Lizzie and I would spread all of our candy out and categorize it into piles of candy for Dad (the ones with coconut), candy for Mom (with nuts), candy we were willing to trade with each other, and candy that was strictly ours (which Dad inevitably helped himself to...at least a peice or two). It will be fun to watch Isaac create his tradition.
